Earlier this week I sent to you an incident report on a particularly troublesome sanitary sewer overflow in West Oakland, and it's potential to impact the operations to the EBMUD waste water treatment facility due to a flooded PG&E vault. I am happy to report that after considerable effort by Public Works Engineering & Infrastructure Maintenance staff, along with our on-call contractor, Andes Construction, we have successfully resolved the problem as of late this afternoon. Our crews and the contractor are de-mobilizing the large pumps and removing other equipment from the site currently. Attached is an Incident Report with more details for your reference.
